Swish Basketball @ ACS Athens is committed to developing the basketball shooting and scoring skills of young players ages 10-18, ranging from novices to advanced athletes. Our dedicated coaching team focuses on the fundamental components of basketball shooting, including footwork, release, and body positioning, while addressing common challenges that may hinder player improvement. By providing personalized coaching and utilizing cutting-edge technology such as the Dr. Dish Shooting Machine, we enhance training effectiveness both during the season and in the off-season. Our goal is to empower each player to take their game to the next level through expert guidance and innovative training methods.

We believe that every athlete has the potential to excel. Our gymnasium is a premier indoor facility designed to inspire and empower young basketball players. Featuring a full-size court and two smaller side courts, our space is perfect for honing skills and building confidence.

A standout feature of our program is the Dr. Dish Shooting Machine, recognized as the #1 basketball shooting equipment in the world and endorsed by FIBA. This advanced technology allows players to take over 500 shots in just one hour, making practice not only efficient but also incredibly effective.

Automated Rebounding: Focus on your shot without interruptions. The machine retrieves rebounds and passes the ball back, allowing for seamless practice and maximized shooting time.

With 30 years of coaching experience, Coach Dimitropoulos has been guiding athletes of all ages and skill levels, from youth leagues to professional teams. Known for his dedication and expertise in youth development, Coach Dimitropoulos has been instrumental in the development of countless female athletes, many of whom have gone on to secure college basketball scholarships in the U.S. and currently play for the Greek National teams . His coaching philosophy emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. Coach Dimitropoulos’ commitment to his players’ growth both on and off the court has earned him a reputation as a mentor and leader in the sport.

Dedicated basketball coach with over 10 years of experience in coaching youth teams and academies, specializing in U16 and U18 age groups. Extensive coaching background with prominent clubs, including Olympiacos B.C. and Holargos B.C. Currently leading Melissia B.C. ‘s U18 team and U23 men’s team. Additionally, holds the position of Physical Education teacher and coaches the JV Girls Basketball team at ACS Athens. Certified for coaching in Greece’s top professional division.

Coach Cramer is a former NCAA athlete with a deep passion for sports, especially basketball. After graduation, he began his teaching and coaching career. He has 15 years of experience in coaching and player development with players ages 10-18 in the United States and Greece. Under his guidance, 25+ players have gone on to play collegiately in the US and Europe.
He is currently the head boy’s basketball coach at ACS Athens.

Christos Stachikas is a former US high school basketball player with a 14-year playing career in the leagues of the Greek Basketball Federation.
With a deep love and passion for the sport, he also possesses a 10-year coaching experience in multiple clubs, with the most recent working as a coach and a scout for the Panathinaikos BC Academy from 2018 to 2021.
During his tenure he has coached multiple athletes who received distinctions and were members of the Youth Greek National teams, while many of them also followed a professional career in basketball.
Coach Stachikas is entering his fourth year coaching for the ACS Athens JV and Varsity basketball teams.
